Stuart Kane Continues to Grow with Addition of Litigation Partner Shane Criqui
Stuart Kane LLP is pleased to announce Shane P. Criqui has joined the firm as a partner.
Focusing his litigation practice on business and employment matters, Criqui represents clients in state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation. He has litigated cases to judgment at summary judgment proceedings, trials, and in binding arbitration. Criqui has also successfully represented clients in California state and federal appellate courts. He has worked with clients involved in multiple business verticals including technology, healthcare, retail, real estate, banking, legal services, manufacturing, and distribution.
Prior to becoming a partner at Stuart Kane LLP, Criqui was a litigation attorney at Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth for seven years. He also served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Stephen V. Wilson, United States District Court Judge, Central District of California in 2006. Prior to law school, Criqui worked as an Investment Banking Analyst for CIBC World Markets (aka CIBC Oppenheimer) in New York City.
Criqui’s arrival comes on the heels of growth at the firm with the recent addition of corporate attorney Michael Vaughn.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join Stuart Kane and be an integral part of the litigation team. The firm’s commitment to exceptional client service through its focus on a few key areas of the law was critical in my decision to join,” said Criqui.
Founding partner and employment law veteran Bob Kane stated, “We are delighted Shane chose to join our team and believe he is a perfect addition to our quickly expanding business and employment litigation practice.”
Criqui received his J.D. from Loyola Law School and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brown University. He is active in local bar associations, including Orange County, Los Angeles County and Newport Harbor, and was listed as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine in 2015.
