Stuart Kane Promotes Cole Morgan to Partner

Mr. Morgan practices real estate and corporate transactional law, including negotiating and drafting agreements, conducting due diligence, and advising on legal and compliance issues. He represents a wide range of companies in many industries, from start-up businesses, to mature companies with complex corporate structures.
Mr. Morgan has successfully guided numerous clients in the cannabis industry of all license types, including vertically integrated companies, with their commercial real estate and corporate needs. He has assisted in negotiating some of the largest cannabis-related leases and property acquisitions in California. His diverse practice and experience include:
- property acquisition
- leasing
- joint venture agreements
- corporate reorganization
- mergers and acquisitions
- structuring investments
- financing arrangements, and
- general transactional matters
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Morgan is involved with StandUp for Kids, a nationally recognized non-profit charity that finds homes for homeless youth across the country and educates them on entrepreneurship. Mr. Morgan serves as a mentor and regularly lends his legal perspective at StandUp for Kids events throughout the year.
Mr. Morgan is on the Board of Directors of the Infinite Hero Foundation, an organization committed to helping our veterans through the use of innovative technologies. Mr. Morgan is also the co-founder of the Newport Coast CBD Invitational, a golf tournament at Pelican Hill benefitting the Infinite Hero Foundation.
Since 2020, Mr. Morgan has volunteered as a Pepperdine University School of Law preceptor to help mentor Pepperdine law students with school and career-related aspirations.
Mr. Morgan received his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law – cum laude, and B.A. from the Western Oregon University – Dean’s List.
