Stuart Kane Promotes Javier Gutierrez to Partnership
Stuart Kane LLP is pleased to announce the election of Javier Gutierrez to partnership effective January 1, 2015.

Gutierrez helps clients acquire, finance, construct, lease, and dispose of real estate and other corporate assets. His diverse practice includes all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including the drafting and negotiation of:
- Commercial leases
- Operating agreements
- Purchase and sale agreements
- Reciprocal easement agreements
- Site development agreements
- Financing documents
Gutierrez has considerable experience representing Fortune 500 companies, as well as medium and small sized companies, in a wide range of traditional and non-traditional real estate and corporate transactions. In the past, he managed complex multi-million dollar real estate transactions for a leading international retailer.
In 2013, the Urban Land Institute (ULI) recognized Gutierrez with the Emergent Leadership Award for Professional Services. He is involved in a variety of real estate industry organizations, including the ULI Young Leaders Group Executive Committee, the Next Gen of International Council of Shopping Centers and the Building Industry Association of Orange County, and the African American Real Estate Professionals.
Gutierrez serves on the Board of Directors and is the Chair of the Real Estate Acquisitions Committee for American Family Housing (AFH), one of the largest providers of transitional housing for the homeless in Orange County. In his role as Chair, he is responsible for guidance on over 50 real estate assets for AFH.
Gutierrez received his J.D. from the University of Southern California and B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
